Paul Huggins, Chief Executive, said: “We are an expanding business and needed more space close to our HQ in Darlington and Lingfield Point provided the ideal location.

“The logistics here, being so close to road, rail and sea links, are ideal for a company like JLM Global Foods as we have to move stock fast and efficiently.

“We’ve been very impressed with the space and the facilities here – it is extremely secure and yet very accessible which is the perfect combination for us.

“And our staff are delighted there is an on-site canteen – even though we’re never short of a snack or two!”

Julian Brooke, of Lingfield Warehousing and Logistics, said:

“We are really delighted to welcome JLM Global Foods to Lingfield Point. They join a growing number of national and international firms choosing to base themselves with us. “Our continuing success is due to our ideal location, great infrastructure, flexibility in terms of both space and leases and the unrivalled security we offer – from CCTV, to 24-hour security and gated entrances.”

Connect Property North East’s Jonathan Simpson who markets the industrial offer at Lingfield Point said:

“This letting characterises the recent upturn in the regional industrial and logistics market that we have witnessed over the last 12 months. We have now reached a position where demand is now starting to significantly outstrip supply, particularly in both Newton Aycliffe and Darlington. Both the strength of the regional manufacturing sector and the recent opening of the new Hitachi train building facility is further enhancing Lingfields Point and Darlington as a strategic location.

Jonathan Simpson added “Lingfield Point is the only scheme in Darlington that can offer immediate use of warehouse and logistics space of 20,000 sq ft+”

Already the base for a number of national occupiers and distribution centres, Lingfield Point can offer units from as little as 800sqft through to 100,000sqft+; offering flexible lease lengths, storage and even 3rd party logistics support on easy terms.

With superb security, 24 hour gatehouse and hub, gated entrances, vehicle recognition and extensive CCTV – why not locate your logistics business at Lingfield?
